An educational and fun game that focuses on black achievements in politics, entertainment, music, and other areas. Similar in nature to Trivia Crack and other "social" trivia-based mobile games. Black Card tests your knowledge of African American popular culture, black history, and black culture across various disciplines in a fun and innovative way. Gameplay is as follows:
1.) Login with Facebook or as an anonymous user. Should you log in with Facebook, the only permission requested are your First Name from your public profile and your friend list. None of your information will be shared with a third party. (Note: Anonymous user and Facebook user account cannot be linked at this time.)
2.) From the Black Card Home Screen, you have the option of challenging another user for their black card. However, be careful, other users can challenge you for your black card at almost any time. You have to defend yourself against these challenges or run the risk of losing your own black card.
3.) Whether challenging or being challenged, you will be directed to a questions selection screen. (It is a digital slot machine.) Press a button and slot machine starts, once it lands on a question type (there are nine potential questions types….with more to come), you will be directed to the question that you will play for one round.
4.) Each player will play for a total of six rounds. Whoever has the most points at the end of six round wins. However, should the challenger and defender (person defending their black card) tie, then the defender wins (i.e.successfully defends their black card).
5.) You also have access to a single player mode, where you can simply play a single player round of nine questions.
6.) Most recent version: We have rolled out an Instant Messaging Service inside the game. Also, you can submit your own questions to be used inside the game. We have also added three new question categories.:
Upcoming Version: We are looking to incorporate a Black Inspirations quotation feed into the game. You can opt into receiving a daily Push notification of quotations from notable black personalities (i.e. Malcolm X quotes, Martin Luther King quotes, Oprah Winfrey Quotes, Obama Quotes, etc…)
We are always looking for feedback and suggestions. If there are any types of Black History questions you think that we should include or any African American trivia facts that should be incorporated, please let us know.
